About
Shanghai Normal University (SHNU) traces its origins back to 1954, when two teacher training colleges merged to form what was initially known as Shanghai Teachers College.
Over the years, the university has undergone several transformations, including a name change to Shanghai Teachers University in 1984.
Today, SHNU is recognized for its commitment to education and research, offering a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
