Guangxi Medical University (GXMU) was founded on November 21, 1934, and is located in Nanning, China. It is one of the oldest medical institutions in the country. In addition, it was one of the first Chinese medical schools to welcome international students and provide English-taught programs. The university places a strong emphasis on clinical medicine, pharmacy, and biomedical sciences. Moreover, GXMU has modern teaching facilities and a diverse international student body.

As a key university supported by the Guangxi Government, GXMU serves as a center for medical education, research, and healthcare services within the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The university currently has 22 schools, one education department, and ten affiliated hospitals, including the First Affiliated Hospital, one of China’s top 100 hospitals and the largest in Guangxi.
