  • Scanned copy of passport photo and passport.

Postgraduate Programs

• Applicants should be non-Chinese citizens in good health, aged 18-35.
• A valid foreign passport is required.
• Application materials include:
  • Completed application form.
  • Bachelor’s degree certificate and transcripts, translated and notarized if not in Chinese or English.
  • Scanned copy of the first page of a valid passport.
  • Study plan.
  • Two letters of recommendation from professors or work supervisors.
  • English proficiency certificate.
  • Physical health certificate.

Tuition Fees, Scholarships and Financial Aid

Undergraduate Programs

• All undergraduate programs are taught in English and have a tuition fee of 22,000 CNY per year.

Postgraduate Programs

• Master’s degree programs cost 34,000 CNY per year.
• Doctoral programs vary in duration, with tuition fees generally consistent with master’s programs.

ECUST offers several scholarships to support international students:

• Chinese Government Scholarship: Covers tuition, accommodation, medical insurance, and a monthly stipend of 3500 CNY.
• Shanghai Government Scholarship: Provides similar benefits as the Chinese Government Scholarship.
• ECUST Presidential Scholarship: Offers partial tuition waivers for outstanding students.
