Beihang University Beijing China opened on October 25, 1952. Beihang brought together aeronautics expertise from eight leading Chinese universities to create a national centre for aerospace education.

Today, Beihang University location is at No. 37 Xueyuan Road, Haidian District, Beijing — one of China’s most concentrated areas for top research universities. You can reach the campus easily via subway Lines 10 and 15. It sits approximately 30 minutes from central Beijing.

BUAA has over 2,000 academic staff, including 20 academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering. It enrols approximately 29,500 students — around 1,900 of whom are international students from 90+ countries.
