Training Objectives

This study program is tailored to train talents with solid fundamentals of Laser 3D Technology, as well as the strong practical ability and creative sense. The graduates are expected to do scientific research work, product design, technology development, and management in fields of laser 3D modeling, measurement and test, 3D fabrication, optical communication, optoelectronics, and etc. After graduation, the students may further their studies for master's degrees in related fields.

 

Training Requirements

This major covers basic theory and principles of Applied Physics (Laser 3D Technology), provides basic training in relevant field, and enables students basic capabilities in research and development. A number of central service facilities and interdisciplinary research institutes provide support for the study program of Laser 3D Technology.

The graduates will acquire the following knowledge and skills:

1. Basic principles and specialized knowledge concerning Laser 3D Technology;

2. Practical skills and the ability to develop new specialized techniques or systems;

3. Ability to do scientific research work, product design, technology development and management in fields of laser 3D modeling, measurement and test, 3D fabrication, optical communication, optoelectronics, and etc

Length of Schooling, Degree, and Credits Requirements for Graduation

1. Length of Schooling: The length of schooling is flexible, generally it lasts four years. The students can graduate one year in advance or within 8 years.

2. Degree Conferred: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

3. The Minimum Graduation Credits:150 Credits
