Training Objectives
The major aims at training advanced professional talents with the prominent performance of practical application ability in communication engineering. Students will be equipped with basic knowledge, principles, and skills in communication technology, system, and network, and are prepared for positions in research and development, design and manufacturing, operation, and education in the field of communications, as well as various departments of the national economy.
Training Requirements
This major covers basic theory and principles of communication systems and networks provides basic training in communication engineering practice, and enables students basic capabilities in research and development, debugging, and engineering application in modern communication systems and networks. Graduates will be able to work at various positions at communication and network manufacturers, communication service providers, and third-party service providers. The graduates will acquire the following knowledge and skills:
1. To master the fundamentals and basic principles in communication
2. To know communication technologies in mobile/wireless communication and telecommunication, to master technologies in information processing, switching, and network
3. To master analytical and design methodology for communication systems and networks.
4. To acquire basic skills in research and development, debugging, and implementation of communication systems and networks.
5. To know the most recent developments and invocations in communication technology.
6. Have good knowledge about humanities and social science & humanistic quality and good at team cooperation & social communications.
7. Passing the third level of new HSK with a score of 180 or above, or having the equivalence of the third level of new HSK with a score of 180, having proper Chinese listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, having proper Chinese language ability and communication ability.
